On October 14, 2022, Louise Age, Jr was sentenced to multiple life sentences for a murder for hire. The victim? The witness being used by the Feds in the Medicare fraud case against Age, Jr held in 2013.
In 2012, Milton Womack, employee of South Louisiana Home Health Care, was a witness in the court case of the health care company’s owners Louis Age, Jr and his wife Verna, for Medicare fraud. According to the evidence, Mr. and Mrs. Age paid kickbacks to patient recruiters to obtain Medicare beneficiary information. Nurses, including registered nurse Verna, then falsified qualification document to make it appear that these beneficiaries qualified for home health services. Evidence showed that Louis Junior hired and paid kickbacks to medical doctors to sign fraudulent referrals and certifications for home health services that were not medically necessary. Lous Junior and Verna then used the Medicare beneficiary information and false documents to bill Medicare for the medically unnecessary home health services. From 2005 through 2011, Medicare paid South Louisiana Home Health Care approximately $17.1 million based on these fraudulent home health care claims.
In July of 2012, Womack was shot to death. Seems suspicious? Yes. Evidently, Age, Jr, worried about Womack’s testimony, developed a plan to kill the witness and solicited his own son, Louise Age III, and friend Ronald Wilton to implement it, and Stanton Guillory to carry out the murder.
The murder of Womack did not prevent the jury of convicting Age Jr and his wife. Both were found guilty of Medicare fraud in August of 2013 and Age Jr was sentenced to 15 years in prison for the fraud. He should have left Womack alone since he now has a life sentence after being found guilty for murder for hire!

Despite the witness death, Age Jr. was convicted of Medicare and is serving a 15-year sentence.

U.S. Attorney Duane A. Evans announced that four New Orleans men have been sentenced to multiple life sentences for murdering a federal witness in a health care fraud case.
In April of 2022, Louis Age Jr., his son, Louis Age III, Ronald Wilson, and Stanton Guillory, were tried before a federal jury for two weeks before the jury found the defendants guilty of numerous crimes, including conspiracy to commit murder for hire, murder for hire, obstruction by murder, retaliation, and other related offenses.
Evidence shows that Age Jr. pursued a plan to kill the witness, implemented by Age II and Wilson, and was carried out by Guillory.
